Shares of Walmart and Boeing are posting losses Thursday afternoon, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. The Dow
was most recently trading 63 points (0.2%) lower, as shares of Walmart
are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Walmart’s shares are off $8.42, or 5.7%, while those of Boeing have dropped $5.66, or 2.6%, combining for an approximately 93-point drag on the Dow. Walt Disney
and Apple Inc.
are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
